RESERVATION POLICIES
Prices for dive travel packages are
subjected to change without prior notice in the event
of currency fluctuation, increases in airfares, resort/hotel
rates etc. However, no surcharge will be levied if
full payment has been made prior to price revision
(if any) except where government taxes (local GST,
marine park fees, etc.) affecting your tour are introduced
or increased.
All cancellations or modifications
to the reservations must be made through 51 Scuba
reservation system on the web site, or by e-mail.
We do not accept cancellations by phone. All cancellations
must be made in writing by Email to cancellation@51scuba.com,
with the following required information:

REFUND
OF UNUSED SERVICES
Refunds are made based on the refund policies of 51
Scuba and our Travel Supplier who supplied the resort/services
to you. Refunds will be made only when reservations
are cancelled within the Cancellation Period set by
our Travel Supplier, together with a corresponding
Third Party Processing Fee which is set at SGD 50
per person.
Cancellation announcements and refund for our dive
travel packages are subjected to the following:

* All cancellation of a confirmed booking
will be charged $50 for processing fee.
* Cancellation Period refers to the number of days
prior to departure.
No refunds, exchange or fee adjustment
can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, dives,
transport, equipment or any other services, which
are included as outlined in the dive travel packages.
No refund in full or in part will be given for any
services/equipment included in the package, which
are not utilized.
51 Scuba does not take responsibility
or provide refund for factors beyond its control such
as airline strikes, bad weather, technical problems
of transporting vehicle/boat etc.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Participants are to ensure that they have a valid
VISA (if required) and international passport with
a minimum of SIX months validity from the date of
departure. Participants are to accept all inconveniences
and incidentals caused by failure to undertake this
responsibility (including verification of VISA requirement).
No refund of any form will be entertained.
4.
DIVE CERTIFICATION PROOF
If you are a certified diver participating in recreational
dives, your dive certification card and dive log book
form part of your travel documents. You must have
these documents at hand during your dive trip for
verification at site, if required. The operators reserve
the right to reject your dive participation or suggest
a refresher course (at own expenses) if you are unable
to perform your dive skills at level of mastery deemed
safe enough to continue. In the event you are disallowed
from dive participation, refunds will not be granted.
5.
RENTAL AGREEMENT
The use of diving equipment provided during an education
program or rental of dive equipment during a recreational
dive experience are provided as an extra service only.
51 Scuba is not responsible for any equipment malfunctions
whilst on tour, injuries to hirer or damage to equipment.
It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to acknowledge
that the equipment is in good order prior to accepting
the equipment or rental. The hirer will also assume
the responsibility to reimburse 51 Scuba Private Limited
for any the equipment loss or damaged whilst under
the care of the hirer.
6.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended in the event of trip
cancellations, hospitalizations, medical and baggage
loss, etc.
7.
DISCHARGE OF LIABILITIES
All divers will be required to sign a liability waiver
form during enrolment of a scuba program or prior
to departure for recreational divers and abide by
all diving rules of the operators.
